Precious moments

I was blessed enough to walk in on a beautiful moment between GI Joe and Addie today. It's so amazing to see what a wonderful father he is to her. She's such a lucky girl, and we're so lucky to have her.
Our life has changed so much in the past 6 months. Moving to the DC area, welcoming Addie, GI Joes' first reconstruction surgery. We've been at the top of the mountain and hurdling the obstacles all along, but honestly, I'm exhausted. The holidays were the culmination of all of our stresses when GI Joe ended up in the hospital with an infection after his surgery.

Luckily, I've been able to capture a lot of beautiful moments, and I've even been caught myself!

It's been an amazing ride, even in spite of all of the challenges. I'm happy to bid adieu to 2012, and welcome 2013 with open, anticipatory arms!
